Room to Park
Our lot fills every Sunday — a barrier for first-time guests.
“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine…”Ephesians 3:20–21
Since 2017, Active Church has helped people know God, find freedom, discover purpose and make a difference. Now we’re making room for more.
Our lot fills every Sunday — a barrier for first-time guests.
Kids and Youth keep growing. The next generation needs space.
Our services are at capacity, limiting who we can reach.
A permanent home to reach thousands more for generations.
Now to Him who is able to do *immeasurably *more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

“God was showing me that following Jesus wasn’t just about what He was doing in me — it was also about what He wanted to do through me.”
An invitation to Christmas Eve changed everything for Aaron’s family — today they all serve.
I had never stepped inside a church when my family was going through a difficult season after a death in the family. Life was heavy, and we were searching for something different. Then an invitation came in the mail for Active Church’s Christmas Eve service at the Fremont Theater. We decided to come, even though we didn’t know what to expect.
That day became a defining moment for me. I raised my hand to follow Jesus, and everything began to change. What started with simply showing up became a new direction for our family. I began serving, first helping with Safety and Hospitality, and eventually found myself serving wherever there was a need.
Over the years, Active became more than a place we attended. My wife was baptized and began serving alongside me. I found myself helping with parking, welcoming people, serving at baptisms, and doing whatever I could to help someone else feel at home.
Today, our whole family is part of that story. Our son, Austin, has grown up at Active and now serves too. He’s welcomed people at Youth, held signs at the Fremont, and even plays the cajon with students. What started with one family simply walking through the doors has become a family learning to serve, lead, and make room for others.
“Someone made room for me. I got to make room for Charlie. And now Charlie is making room for others.”
A Division I athlete at Cal Poly, Charlie found that success couldn’t give him the identity he was looking for — until a teammate invited him to Active.
Charlie Hogan came to Cal Poly looking for more. He had accomplished something he had dreamed about as a Division I athlete, but success couldn’t give him the identity or fulfillment he was looking for. A teammate invited him to Active, and he began moving from knowing about God to actually knowing Jesus.
Charlie eventually decided to follow Jesus and was baptized. Years after I first walked into Active Church, I found myself standing in a baptismal tank helping someone else take that same step. Charlie found community, began being discipled, and is now helping create space for other Cal Poly athletes to explore faith.
Someone made room for me. I got to make room for Charlie. And now Charlie is making room for others.
